This qualification reflects the role of skilled independent and micro-business contractors who apply a broad range of competencies in varied contexts, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a small team.
To be awarded the qualification Certificate III in Micro Business Operations, competency must be achieved in 10 units made up of 5 core units and 5 elective units

BSBSMB302 Develop a micro business proposal
BSBSMB303 Organise finances for the micro business
BSBSMB304 Determine resource requirements for the micro business
BSBSMB305 Comply with regulatory, taxation and insurance requirements for the micro business
Elective unit selection will be completed through consultation with your course advisor and must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintaining the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome
Requirements
The are no pre-requisites for entry into this course however, candidates are required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment at application for admission which is used to determine the level of support (if any) that may be required, or adjustment needed to the training plan on enrolment.
